Mt. Yoshino (858m) in Nara Prefecture is UNESCO World Heritage listed and world-famous for its spectacular cherry blossom seasons. The mountain features over 30,000 cherry trees and the historic Kinpusen-ji Temple complex. Hiking trails lead through four zones of blossoms: Shimo Senbon, Naka Senbon, Kami Senbon, and Oku Senbon.
